Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Our Approach
At the heart of our practice is respect for each child as a whole, unique person. We take a neurodiversity-affirming, play and relationship-based approach to therapy, meaning we celebrate differences, follow children's interests, and prioritise connection and regulation above all. We focus on understanding and supporting children in a way that is empowering and meaningful to them. By creating safe, playful spaces and building strong, trusting relationships, we aim to help children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and thrive as their authentic selves. Therapy isn’t about ticking boxes, it’s about nurturing strengths, supporting regulation, and honouring the individual journey of every child and family. We focus on functional goals that support real-life meaningful skills for children and families.
Relationship Based
Strong and trusting relationships are at the heart of therapy.
Play Based
Because therapy happens when we have fun.
Neurodiverse Affirming
Supporting unique interests and strengths to flourish as our authentic selves.
Serious about fun. Powered by play.

Hi, I'm Meg!
Thanks for coming to MEGAbility's website!

I’m an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with an Honours degree from The University of Sydney, where I completed my thesis on toilet training children on the autism spectrum. Since then, I’ve worked across NGOs, mainstream and special education settings, and private practice in both Australia and the UK - experiences that have shaped the therapist I am today.
I have supported children with a wide variety of neurodiverse, developmental, physical, neurological and sensory needs. My approach is child-led, play-based and always focused on building functional skills that make a real difference in daily life. You’ll often find me on the floor singing, playing and laughing - because therapy works best when it’s fun and engaging!
In addition to my clinical work, I have published academic papers in international journals, delivered lectures for Occupational Therapy university programs, and continue to support the next generation of OT's as a clinical educator and marker. These roles keep me connected to OT research and support the development of future therapists.
I love working closely with families, teachers and other important people in a child’s life to ensure skills are generalised into everyday environments. I believe that families are the true experts in their journey, and I see my role as partnering with them to help their child thrive.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you and supporting your child’s journey!
