About MEGAbility
The bar has been set!
Megability is an Occupational-Therapy based gymnastics program designed by Meg, an Occupational Therapist. Megability incorporates teaching and learning methods from Occupational Therapy practice to offer inclusive classes within an accessible environment. The program aims to support all children who would benefit from a nurturing and inclusive environment to participate in gymnastics. For example, children may have physical, motor, coordination, sensory processing, social or emotional regulation differences which impact on their participation in group programs*.

We offer tailored small group, pair or individual classes based on each child's needs and preferences. Megability is underpinned by neuroaffirming values and aims to support children to flourish by supporting their unique strengths and goals. It's a place and program for all children to show off their MEGA cool skills!

Learning gymnastics skills also aims to support the journey to learning and developing so many other skill areas. MEGAbility is purposefully designed using learning strategies from Occupational Therapy and aims to support children to develop their skills across a range of different areas and support generalisation. We use gymnastics as the therapeutic tool and work with families to develop individual goal areas for each child, with aim for skills to generalise across areas.
